Subject: [Delayed] Top Qualifying Speeds #11 - the Hungaroring
These comparisons only use the top speeds recorded through the regular speed
trap during the Saturday Qualifying sessions. This means that, at most events,
there are comparisons that are fairly meaningless because of some problem that
affected one or more drivers during one particular session.
The first table compares the 2006 team/driver combination with the equivalent
2007 team/driver - the same driver if possible, otherwise the 2006 driver is
compared to his 2007 replacement. This analysis is intended as a team comparison,
but the first table is also of some interest - but should be read with caution.

Kubica utarł Heidfeldowi nosa - pomimo tego, że przyjechał piąty. Na
większości okrążeń jechał znacznie szybciej od Niemca. W ciągu około 30
okrążeń zniwelował stratę z około 15 do 4.5 sek. Szkoda, że strategia BMW
pozbawiła Kubicę czwartego miejsca. No ale to nie pierwszy raz, gdy zespół
BMW nie popisuje się swoimi pomysłami dot. PIT stopów.

Witam,
Toż to staje się zabawne, jak BMW kombinuje z PIT stopami. Tym razem uraczył
nas nowym sposobem nad wyhamowaniem Kubicy. Wystarczy kazać mu zjechać do
boksu na początku wyścigu - gdy już zaczyna dobrze jechać - i dociążyć go
tak paliwem, żeby tracił po 2 sek na okrążeniu: murowane zwycięstwo
Heidfelda.
Swoją drogą jakoś słabo Kubica dziś jechał. Może zapomnieli mu wymienić tej
skrzywionej w ostatnim wyścigu tylnej osi? ;)

Słyszałem, że Kubica miał uszkodzone tylke zawieszenie po tym puknięciu
przez Heidfelda.
Pomijając fakt, że Heidfeld nie powinien wyprzedzać Kubicy na ostatnim
okrążeniu - to powinni go zdyskwalifikować za razbój na torze. Przywalił 2x
w czasie wyścigu (w Kubicę i Schumahera) i nic?

1. The reason for the reduction in distance covered is because the FIA
no longer count the Friday practice sessions as part of the event for
engines. Teams now use different engines on Friday and swap to the
'race' engines for Saturday/Sunday.
